استعداد (eTalent) Scholarship contest is an SMS & IVR based service. Where the Etisalat customers can win Scholarship for their higher studies by answering the questions.

Method of Participation & Usage

By sending YES to the Short Code 2282 or by dialing 2282 and following the instruction a customer is considered registered in the “استعداد (eTalent) Scholarship Service”.

No personal details are required, other than the number. Customers will receive questions until they stop answering the question.

They have to choose answer from the given options (Multiple Choice) and send it back to short code 2282; for each correct answer participants will receive 10 points

Contest Scheme

Participants has the privilege to play on behalf of their nearest family members and they can give their prize to their family member or sibling, such as below. But they need to bring the document (Tazkira/National ID card) to prove the relationship.

Description

Voluntary Suspension service enables customer to maintain his/her line while they are traveling outside the country for long time.

Customers can suspend his/her line for minimum 1 day and maximum one year by paying the fee of 100 AFN Per month for successful suspension

Offer Rules:

Customers shall activate the service through visiting the flagship shops

During the time the line is suspended, customers will not have incoming calls to their lines and all services will be suspended

100 AFN monthly fee is being applied for this service which should be paid at the beginning

Customers should have 50 AFN in their account and the rest of monthly fee should be paid in cash

After the completion of suspension period, the SIM will be activated automatically and then SIM follows the normal rules

If customer is having balance after the line suspension is activated, credit will follow the balance validity period rules

In order to enable and use this service customer has two options

Twitter will ask you to send "OK" if you want to use Twitter on your phone.

Subscription Policy

v  Whenever a customer activates one of SMS Alert Services, he will be charged 7AFS for two days.

v  On third and fourth days the service will be on standby

v  If customer recharge during third and fourth days another 7 AFS will be deducted and the service will be renewed

v  If customer does not recharge during third and fourth days and his balance was insufficient on fifth day it will be deactivated automatically

This Day in History Daily: Registered users will get daily SMS on what happened on the same day in Afghanistan history

Remember that information will be sent to users once a week on Thursdays.

Paywast service is a mobile social networking service in Afghanistan which enables our customers to communicate and interact through SMS in social groups that they create themselves.

Group is made from minimum 3 and maximum 50 members (includes the group owner) and A user can be member of 5 groups

Features and commands

Inorder to activate paywast service customers should send paywast as SMS to 729. After confirmation they can use the  following features by selecting one of the following codes and send it to 729 for example in order to join a group customer should go to the Massage screen write 0 GroupName and send it to 729

Signing up to the paywast via mobile will charge 2 AFN

Sending of message will charge 5 AFN and receiving is free

MCA Service Description

MCA Service enables  our customers to receive incoming calls notification including callers' number, date and time when they are busy, off or unreachable.

Activation

Write in your message screen OPEN and send to 313 (you will receive a confirmation message).

Deactivation

Write in your message screen Cancel and send to 313 (you will receive a confirmation message).

MCA service will charge10 AFS/Month and it is on auto renewal base.

Description

This Service enables our customers to register their profile in mobile and find out their favorite jobs through mobile easily.

Customer just need to dial 808 and then press 2 for job on mobile and follow the guidelines, they can use this service by purchasing one of the below bundles. The bundles can be purchased by eather calling to 808 IVR or SMS as mentioned in below table

After registering the customer can check the update positions by calling the 808 IVR

1. If customer was having sufficient balance the package will be renewed without any delay.

Afghan families who live in USA or any US customers in order to purchase that EA SIM number has to visit GTS outlet and ask for DID service then GTS company will give him an etisalat number routed to his US number with an account and then customer should inform all his friend and families staying in Afghanistan about his EA number, Now if anyone in Afghanistan call to this EA number it will be routed to his US number with discounted rate.

Customer in USA pays $ 20 per month for EA number and instead he gets 3500 minutes incoming calls it means per line customer should pay 1000 AFN on monthly bases for call forwarding service.

If anyone in Afghanistan call from On-Net number to that EA number in USA he/she will be charged AFN 3

If anyone in Afghanistan call from Off-Net number to that EA number in USA he/she will be charged AFN 5

Customers in order to check their eligibility for the loan, they have to dial *725# , now they will be notified about their eligibility.

In order to avail the loan customers should dial *725*amount# and money will be recovered immediately when customers recharge on their main account.

SMS Method

If you send blank SMS to 725 => System will show how much loan subscriber can get (10,20 and 50AFN)

If you send 10 as SMS to 725 => System will give 10AFN loan to subscriber

If you send 20 as SMS  to 725 => System will give 20AFN loan to subscriber

If you send 50 as SMS  to 725 => System will give 50AFN loan to subscriber

Sending 9 as SMS to 725 => System will manually recover the amount
